What this isどんな場所か
A place to live, not a place to stay.滞在する場所ではなく、暮らす場所です。
Horizon House is two houses in Itabashi run as a single residence. Between them there are five bedrooms and several shared and special-purpose spaces. It is not a guesthouse and not short-stay accommodation: there are no nightly rates and nothing shorter than a month.ホライズンハウスは、板橋区にある二棟の建物をひとつの住まいとして運営しています。寝室は合わせて5室、ほかに共用・特別スペースがあります。ゲストハウスや宿泊施設ではありません。一泊単位の料金はなく、1か月未満の契約もありません。
Everyone signs the same kind of agreement: a fixed-term residential lease under Japanese law, with a defined start and end date. If both sides want it to continue, a new contract is signed. That structure is explained to you in writing before you sign anything, and it is explained again every time you renew.契約はすべて同じ形式です。開始日と終了日を定めた定期建物賃貸借契約を締結します。双方が継続を希望する場合は、あらためて新しい契約を締結します(再契約)。この仕組みについては、署名の前に必ず書面でご説明します。再契約のたびに、同じご説明を繰り返します。

Five bedrooms across the two houses, on two floors each, plus shared spaces on every level, a garden, a balcony and a porch between the two. Occupancy differs by room. Ask about a specific one and we will tell you exactly what it is.二棟それぞれ2階建て、寝室は合わせて5室。各階に共用スペースがあり、庭、共用バルコニー、そして二棟をつなぐポーチがあります。定員は部屋ごとに異なります。気になる部屋があれば、具体的にお知らせください。

Nobody runs a programme here. Someone cooks more rice than they meant to and it gets eaten. The TV goes on. On a slow evening something comes down off the games shelf. Some people are in the lounge every night and some keep to their room for a week, and both are completely normal. The house works when each person leaves it easy for the next one to walk in.特別なイベントを用意しているわけではありません。誰かが多めにご飯を炊けば、それが食卓に並びます。テレビがつき、のんびりした夜にはボードゲーム棚から何かが下ろされます。毎晩ラウンジにいる人もいれば、一週間ほど自室で静かに過ごす人もいて、どちらもごく普通のことです。次に使う人が気持ちよく過ごせる状態にしておく。この家はそれで成り立っています。

No smoking anywhere, quiet from midnight, guests by prior approval, and you clean up after yourself. The nine-line version, and what counts as serious, are on the costs and terms page.
